Conference on International Youth Work and Mobility 2013
Research Evidence for Policy and Practice
The conference took place in Vienna, Austria on September 18 and 19, 2013. It presented the research findings of the network and explored research strategies in the field of learning mobility and international youth work. The conference brought over 70 Researchers in the field of learning mobility, youth sociology, and intergenerational studies, practitioners in the field of the international youth work, policymakers from national and European Youth Authorities, as well as representatives of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The main themes of the conference were:
- Learning through international mobility in different contexts – research, policies and practice
- Learning through Youth in Action: main outcomes and conclusions
- Research recommendations for policy and practice
- A research strategy and agenda for the 2014 to 2020
